Children love powder snow
After only a few cautious turns in easy terrain they are in their element. Children enjoy our deep powder snow courses immensely. By using the ABS technique, they quickly feel confident on their skis and playfully and effortlessly ski through powder snow. The underlying reason for this is that the ABS technique feels completely natural to them.
We’ve been teaching children’s courses for years, and kids love them. These courses are ideal for children between 6 and 14 years old. Children love deep powder skiing because they get to go off the beaten track. When they’re out and about in a group, it’s a great adventure and with what they learn they feel a real sense of accomplishment and have a fantastic time.
Parents are happy as well, because contrary to wide belief their children are safer off-piste than on crowded pistes, because it’s almost impossible to collide with another person or to get hurt when they fall. Plus, they are watched over by our experienced coaches who carefully select their off-piste routes and make sure that they always carry avalanche safety equipment.
This season, we offer three courses for children during German school holidays. Places are available in Sterzing, Disentis and Garmisch this February, March and April. If you can’t secure a place on one of those courses because they’re full (which can easily happen as they’re in high demand), you can also book spaces for older children on the regular courses.
Having taught children’s deep powder snow courses for many years we have learnt that this experience can have a very positive and long-lasting effect on them. In a playful way, they learn to enjoy being out in the open, and this may turn into a life-long passion for nature.
So, we suggest to off their TV and to take them up on the mountains - they will love it!
