Ernst Garhammer

He and his brother Fuzzy Garhammer were the pioneers of the freestyle skiing and stunt skiing boom in the Alps in the 70s and 80s. He has won several freestyle World Cups and European Championships.
The German Ski Association’s magazine ‘DSV aktiv, Ski & Sportmagazin’ called him “the deep powder snow guru and mogul pope“.
In addition, Ernst is a successful ski film maker and has won an award at the International Ski Film Festival in New York. You will see proof of that during the introductory meeting on the eve of your course and during the entertaining video analyses.

Sebastian Garhammer
He is one of the world’s best freeskiing pros and has produced and starred in numerous breathtaking skiing films. Sebastian Garhammer teaches freeride and slopestyle courses, where he introduces you to the art of off-piste skiing. That’s no surprise if you consider the genes: Sebastian is the son of Ernst Garhammer. Most part of the year he lives in the Swedish skiing mecca Åre.

Sandra Garhammer
Sandra is Ernst’s wife and always in a good mood. Not only is she an excellent and elegant deep powder skier, but she is also a sought after coach for private skiing lessons (personal coaching). With a background in travel, she is responsible for course bookings and will answer all of your questions about administrative and logistical matters.

Die Garhammer Coaches
All Garhammer coaches are excellent and experienced skiers. They undergo intense training to be able to teach deep powder courses. Their passion for deep powder skiing is what makes them so special. They have steady jobs in seasoned professions and are doctors, civil servants, tradesmen, entrepreneurs, lawyers etc. This means, that they don’t teach our courses because they have to, but because they love deep powder skiing. That’s something you’ll notice from the beginning till the end of your course.
